From Neglect to Natural Beauty: Transforming a Septic Mound into a Vibrant Wildflower and Grass Meadow, Blooming with Seasonal Delights.

This lush grass and wildflower meadow flourishes at our client's Delaware Bay-Front Home.

Our clients faced a unique challenge with their new home on the Delaware Bay, where a newly installed septic system occupied the majority of their front yard. As they were not permanent residents, maintaining a traditional lawn was impractical due to the septic mound's presence. Additionally, they desired to enhance support for native insects, butterflies, and birds through their landscaping choices.

After careful consideration, we collaborated with Ernst Seed to select a tailored seed mix for a grass and wildflower meadow, perfectly suited to the specific soil and circumstances of their property. In its inaugural year, the meadow has flourished, showcasing its beauty across all seasons and fulfilling our clients' vision of a vibrant, low-maintenance landscape that supports local biodiversity.
